The Finest Movies From Pixar

By Sara N Perry

Pixar, a computer animated motion picture studio, has brought us movies that are beloved by children and grown-ups alike. Pixar has made only 10 films all in all but each of them has been a commercial and crucial accomplishment. The studio has earned twenty-two Academy Awards, four Golden Globes and three Grammy's, making it one of the most critically much-admired movie studios ever.

The commencement of Pixar's success starts in 1995 with the movie "Toy Story". This fantastic movie follows the life of a favorite toy, Woody, the toy cowboy as he tries to vie for the position of most treasured toy with another new toy, Buzz Lightyear. The sequel, "Toy Story 2" came out in 1999.

In between the accomplishment of the "Toy Story" movies came "A Bug's Life" in the year 1998. This is the narrative of an ant name Flik who is resolute to save the food that the ant colony worked hard to store from some very greedy and fierce grasshoppers.

"Monsters, Inc." came out in 2001. It is a wonderful account about the all of the monsters hiding under our kid's beds and in their closets at nighttime, a true masterpiece.

In 2003, the most commercially profitable Pixar film to date, having grossed over $800 million worldwide, is "Finding Nemo", the account of a delightful little clown fish, who gets separated from his father and taken away to live in an aquarium in a dentist's office. The movie follows the journey as Nemo's father travels the deep-sea to retrieve his son.

Superhero's at their finest defines "The Incredibles" from the year 2004. Mr. And Mrs. Parr, in the past known as Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl gave up their corruption fighting careers as superhero's to become normal folks and raise a family under the government protection program. When Mr. Parr gets overcome by the appeal of his previous superhero existence, can Elastigirl and the rest of the Incredible family save him?

Lightning McQueen, a red racecar, learns about being happy and successful from the town cars of Radiator Springs in the movie "Cars" from 2006. Remy the rat follows his dreams of being a cook in a fine French restaurant in "Ratatouille" from 2007, and the final robot left inhabiting the earth searches for love in "Wall-E" from 2008.

And the film that some say is the best Pixar show yet, from 2009, "Up". Some dreams never die but we all get older. Can an elderly man make his lifelong dream come true? Maybe determination and determination are the only tools he really needs. - 18418
