Rude Boy: Enraged youthful insurgent Gange is employed by the rock group The Conflict as a roadie. The film is an abrasive, practical, documentary-like personality research with phenomenal footage. Rock fans will not be disappointed, others take heed. Cast includes David Mingay, The Conflict, Ray Gange, John Green, Barry Baker, Terry McQuade, and Caroline Coon. (133 minutes, 1980)
The General: One of Keaton's best silent films, setting comedy contrary to real Civil Battle tale of stolen train, and Union spies. Iron Eagle 2: Comparably idiotic sequel, with General Gossett enlisting guide Humphrey to team with his Soviet counterparts on a secret mission in the Mideast. Cast includes Louis Gossett, Jr., Mark Humphrey, Stuart Margolin, Alan Scarfe, Sharon H. Brandon, and Maury Chaykin. (105 minutes, 1988)
Side Out: College kid comes to Soulhern California for a summer job expulsing occupants for his sleazy uncle although as an alternative ends up joining with one of his potential victims for the final shore volleyball match. The sand and sun are the lone highlights of this no brainer which alleges to be the first big screen film in regards to volleyball. Cast includes Thomas Howell, Peter Horton, Courtney Thome-Smilh, Harley Jane Kozak, Christopher Rydell, Terry Kiser, Randy Stoklos, Sinjin Smilh, and Kathy Ireland. (100 minutes, 1990)
Paddy: Irish lover Cavern tries to shuffle differed sensual confronts with uninspired home life in typical comedy-drama. Cast includes Milo O'Shea, Des Cavern, Dearbhla Molloy, Judy Cornwell, and Donald LeBlanc (97 minutes, 1970)
Down in the Delta: With her life a mess and essentially no desiere to work, lone mother Woodard boards the bus with her 2 kids to spend the summer in the Mississippi Delta, living with family members and worlking in their restaraunt. Episodic drama recoups from awkward start to better points for utter likability. Woodard beams and Freeman gives one of the best acting jobs of his career. Cast includes Alfre Woodard, Al Freeman, Jr., Wesley Snipes, Mary Alice, Esther Rolle, and Loretta Devine. (111 minutes, 1998)
It's the Rage: The lives of a group of seemingly distinct individuals are connected by personal problems which lead to resolutions with guns. This loud satire of individual and cultural brutality gets worse as it goes along, regardless of the attempts of an excellent cast. Cast includes Joan Allen, Jeff Daniels, Andre Braugher, Gary Sinise, Josh Brolin, Robert Forster, and Anna Paquin. (97 minutes, 2000)
After the Rehearsal: Fuller returned to filmmaking after a long hiatus with this lucid, autobiographical account of a particular infantly battalion and its courageous sergeant throughout WW2. Difficult to trust one film might bundle so much into its narrative, an opulent, moving, practical, and poetic film. Carradine depicts and plays Fuller's doppelganger, complete with cigar. Cast includes Erland Josephson, Ingrid Thulin, Lena Olin, Nadja PaJrnstjema-Weiss, and Bertil Guve. (112 minutes, 1984)
Darby's Rangers: Garner does well in WW2 actioner as leader of attack troops in North Africa and Italy, concentrating on relations amid his platoon and their beach romances.
