The Encouragement You Get When Viewing A Motion Picture Biography And Why It Is Crucial
Biography movies are about real people in real situations. If you've never watched a biography, I encourage you to do so, as you will be intrigued with the lives and times of the greatest people we've come to know in history. These true stories of real people and what they faced, obstacles they hurdled, and the triumphs and tragedies they endured, are highly entertaining and inspiring.
These types of movies are actually very inspiring and encouraging as you learn about their very lives on film, what they endured, their struggles, their challenges and how they overcame and achieved, or perhaps, some of them unfortunately, didn't. Besides movies or film, you can also get biographies in the form of books, essays, and well-written reviews.
Some of the top biography movies that made the top one hundred biography movies and considered my favorites include Gandhi, Bonnie and Clyde, The Passion of the Christ, Lawrence of Arabia, Catch Me If You Can, The Pianist, Ray, Selena, Patton, The Elephant Man, Malcolm X, A Beautiful Mind, Norma Jean and Marilyn Monroe, Mask, Schindler's List, Monster, Erin Brockovich, The Diary of Anne Frank, The Aviator, Hoffa, Elizabeth, Braveheart and Tina Turner's What's Love Got To Do With It, just to name a few.
You can search online on biography review sites that give people's personal opinions on the movies that will help you in your decision making process. And you can also give your opinion on the movie that will help others as well. The internet surely makes it easy for all of us to get the information we need on any movie biography.
You can find these online biography review sites by typing in keywords such as biographies, biography, movie biographies, biography reviews and so forth. You'll find a ton of information relating to movie biographies to help you in your search. You'll also be able to search by genres if you are looking for something specific.
Let me tell give you a small review on one of my favorite biographies. It's called Schindler's List, and if you haven't seen it, please watch it tonight! It's directed by Steven Spielberg, and is a depiction of what the Jews went through in the Holocaust. Sure it may have some depressing scenes, but the acting is superb, and the movie is brilliant. It's shot completely in black and white, which was ingenious by Steven, and I must admit I cried a tear or two.
Liam Neeson is awesome and plays the German businessman making a profit from German military contracts. His company employs a Jewish work staff that is slowly depleted as he discovers the awful truth that they are being slaughtered, one by one, in gas chambers located in Auschwitz. He becomes a savior to so many Jewish people, although he cried that he did not save enough.
It's a gut wrenching, heart felt movie that truly depicts the hardships of the Jews and the real truth about what they had faced with the Germans. It really was inspiring to see how many Jews he had saved, although in the end, he felt he hadn't saved enough.
Hollywood of course, adds their bit of fiction to make it even more interesting, but just knowing that these were real people in real times is what makes a biography intensely riveting and enjoyable to watch. - 18418
