Seven Positive Recommendations For An Astounding Flick To Enjoy Tonight

By Alisha Stout

You need to search for a site that provides a big selection of movies. If the film is still at the theater and it has yet to be released on video it will not be obtainable yet on a legal website. Just like the video store or subscription service, you can only download movies that have been released on video. One benefit however, is that the choice should be better than your local video store because computer files don't take up actual space like hard-copy videos do. Most of the sites will offer music and games too.

Select from the opinions below and download a good movie to view this evening.

The In Laws - Everyone can relate to this difficult situation. The in laws are coming and you just have to survive. Don't try this at home! Unrated version runs 93. Cast includes Peter Falk, Alan Arkin, Richard Libertini, and Nancy Dussault.

The Ploughman's Lunch - Complicated, skeptical condemnation of British behaviors, ethics and affairs of state, focusing on the maneuvers of totally selfish journalist (Pryce) and others throughout the Falklands battle. The film is fairly perceptive, within the restraints of its outlook. Cast includes Jonathan Pryce, Tim Curry, Rosemary Harris, Blunt Finlay, and Charlie Dore.

On Guard - A trustworthy swordsman saves a child princess from the wicked grasp of her malicious challenger. The child's father was also the swordsman's guru. A deliciously old-styled popcorn motion picture that is full of action and set in the France of Louis XIV. Cast includes Daniel Auteuil, Fabrice Luchini, Vincent Perez, Marie Gillain, Yann Collette, Didier Pang, and Philippe Noiret.

Above the Law - This is Steven Segal's breakout movie. He plays a Chicago Cop who takes matters into his own hands. As the title implies, he is 'above the law'. He uses his large body and martial arts skills to inflict havoc on the bad guys. Stars include Steven Segal, Pam Grier, and Sharon Stone.

Faces - Very personal drama in regards to plentiful infidelities is one of the few Cassel motion pictures to become a big hit. Here is a powerful motion picture with awe-inspiring action, particularly by Carlin and Cassel. Cast includes John Marley, Gena Rowlands, Lynn Carlin, Seymour Cassel, Fred Draper, and Val Avery.

Borderline - Peculiar thriller comedy in which Los Angeles policeman Trevor tries to accumulate proof contrary to cunning drug smuggler Burr when mixing with hard gentleman MacMurray in Mexico. Starts out promisingly, although eventually slows down in absurdity. Burr makes a lucid scoundrel. The cast includes Fred MacMurray, Claire Trevor, Raymond Burr, Jose Torvay, Morris Ankrum, and Roy Roberts.

Life on a Strand - Musical, gorgeously filmed account of a blind boy who is informed by his teacher that his eyesight can be repaired if he commits his life to music; he gets to be a saintly old gentleman still without ability to see who voyages from village to village with his young student harmonizing melodies, which he finds emotionally nurturing. Considerate film stuffed with poetic energy, and a soundtrack of extraordinary melodies. Cast includes Liu Zhong Yuan, Huang Lei, Xu Qing, Ma Ling, and Zhang Zhengguan. - 18418
