Some Good Suggestions For An Astounding Flick To Watch Tonight

By Samual York

Dissimilar genres affect people in different ways of course. There are men and women both who love the chick-flicks and there are those that would rarely watch one. Some love horror movies and some abhor them but the terrific thing about the movie business is that there is something for everyone. Pick from the opinions below and download a great film to watch this evening!

Straight Time - Hoffman knocks heads with greasy parole officer Walsh following his discharge from prison and starts a downward skid. An immersing if not particularly differentiated melodrama that gets a true shot in the arm from incredible acting by the supporting cast. Cast includes Dustin Hoffman, Theresa Russell, Harry Dean Stanton, Gary Busey, Emmet Walsh, and Rita Taggart. (114 minutes, 1978)

Adios Amigo - Weird western comedy, written, produced, and directed by Williamson, who also plays a part in the film along with con guy Pryor. There is no sex or violence in this harmless flick, but it just doesn't quite work. Cast includes Fred Williamson, Richard Pryor, Thalmus Rasulala, James Brown, and Robert Phillips. Directed by Fred Williams (1975-Comedy 87 minutes rated PG)

On Guard - A faithful swordsman saves a child princess from the evil grasp of her mean adversary. The child's father was also the swordsman's teacher. A appealingly old-styled popcorn movie that is full of action and set in the France of Louis XIV. Cast includes Daniel Auteuil, Fabrice Luchini, Vincent Perez, Marie Gillain, Yann Collette, Didier Pang, and Philippe Noiret. (128 minutes, 1997)

Roll Bounce - A group of skate-admiring adolescents on Chicago's South Side have to establish themselves to the snobs on the other side of town while their local skating rink closes, all while facing the pleasures and pangs of growing up. As trend-based coming of age films go, this is a notch or two underneath Saturday Night Fever and an advancement over Roller Boogie. Cast includes Bow Wow, Chi McBride, Mike Epps, Wesley Jonathan, Kellita Smith, Meagan Good, and Tim Kazurinsky. (112 minutes, 2005)

Addicted to Love - This movie is a depressing comedy where we observe an ex-boyfriend, and an ex-girlfriend spying on their previous partners. They find themselves teamed together, with the young lady planning acts of vengeance for her ex- partner. Meg Ryan, Matthew Broderick, Kelly Preston, and Tcheky Karyo star. (1997 dark comedy directed by Griffin Dunne)

Doug's First Movie - The superstar of TV's Doug is characterized in this dull, formulaic tale, made exclusively for children. Calm preteen Doug tries to spare an animal in need clash with his aspiration to take his lady friend to the school dance. This movie was made as a direct-to-video production. Voices of Thomas McHugh, Fred Newman, Chris Phillips, Constance Shulman, Doug Preis, and Alice Playten. (97 minutes, 1999)

Dracula Has Risen From The Grave - Dracula runs afoul of tiny-town monsignor while he chases the churchman's good-looking blonde niece. Cast includes Christopher Lee, Rupert Davies, Veronica Carlson, Barbara Ewing, Barry Andrews, and Michael Ripper. - 18418
