Blackmail: Youthful lady slaughters guy who tries to rape her, then finds her snared between examining investigator who occurs to be her boyfriend and a blackmailer. Committed: Youthful N.Y.C. club supervisor believes in pledge at work and in her matrimony albeit she's enclosed by stoner buddies, so she's thrown for a loop while her husband Wilson bolts to "find him-self." Graham is the entire show here, although she's adhered in a lightweight street-film/lifestyle-conflict story. If this is screwball romance for the new millennium, we're in trouble. Cast includes Heather Graham, Casey Affleck, Luke Wilson, Goran Visnjic, Alfonso Arau, Mary Kay Place, Dylan Baker, and Carlin Glynn. (98 minutes, 2000)
Fool for Love: Sheppards assessment of 2 ex-lovers who find that they are inextricably stuck together. The tough part is is creating some interest in these characters. Cast includes Sam Shepard, Kim Basinger, Harty Dean Stanton, and Randy Quaid. (106 minutes, 1985)
Candyman: Helen Lyle is a University of Illinois student looking for ideas for her thesis on urban legends.. She becomes interested in the Candyman legend. Candyman was a son of slaves who died at the hand of a hired gang sent to kill him because he got a girl pregnant. They set angry bees loose on him, and then was burnt to death. The legend states that if you say his name 5 times in front of a mirror, Candyman comes to life. Candyman does appear, and Helen finds herself in big trouble.
A phrase like "Movie Share" might get a good result. Try a new phrase if that one did not work. You should punch in "Videos Online" for another set of results. - 18418
