When taken together, these three chords include all the notes in the key of C.

You will also need to learn more about chord voicing. This refers to playing a chord in positions other than the root. For example, you will not always have to play the chord F in the order F-A-C. You can play it as A-C-F or C-F-A. Changing the position by which you play a chord will give it a different voicing.

Online or Offline?

The internet is now filled with lots of options for the beginner guitar player wanting lessons. Before the advent of the internet students only really had one option and that was to physically travel for their guitar lesson to the tutors home or place of work. With all these options now available it is far easier to make costly mistakes in choosing the right set or more importantly wrong set of lessons or course.

Before making your decision on which type of course to go for I would like to go through the advantages and disadvantages of both online and offline courses as it will hopefully help you in your final decision. We'll start with online guitar lessons.

Online Guitar Lessons or Courses

An online guitar course is a course that is either downloadable or accessed by streaming were the material can be accessed while downloading is taking place. The disadvantage of tis type of course is that the quality suffers due to very large file sizes being needed to get a real good quality production. Compared with say a DVD the quality will be nowhere near as good. Also you will need a real fast internet connection to take advantage of these type of courses.

You will also find that is it quite hard to build up an archive of material that you can refer back to over and over again. With any guitar course you choose to go with, one of the major considerations is that you must be able to archive the material easily and be able to put your hands on a particular part of the course instantly should you wish to refer back to it at a later date. * If you need an answer to a particular issue in between lessons, what do you do??? You end up waiting for next week to come along to get your questions answered, wasting time. Ideally you need your questions answering NOW, there and then when you are stuck, this allows you to get your questions answered immediately and move on to the next stage...

* People in general feel nervous when playing back a piece in front of their tutor and generally make some mistakes through their nervousness. This is a fact. They feel much more at home and play at their best in their own surroundings with no one watching over them...

So Where Does That Leave YOU?

There is an alternative to both these methods and has the advantages of both systems of learning.

The alternative is to have your lessons sent to you through the post on hard copy DVD. Michael Jackson own shopping habits were a problem. FoxNews.com reported finding 75 cars registered under his name. Many celebrities love cars; however, many celebrities are also still working. Michael Jackson had not put out a significant piece of music since 1997.
