Regardless of the type of event you may be putting on, the choice of a DJ or entertainment coordinator is one of the most important decisions you need to make to ensure that your guests have a great time. Finding a truly professional DJ who offers several entertainment options can be a bit challenging, but well-worth the effort.

In our experience providing DJ services in the San Antonio and South Texas area, all too often, people choose entertainers based primarily on who offers the best price, without giving much thought to the professionalism of the DJ and how good of a match his or her personality and services are to the event. For example, a younger DJ who is into "hip-hop" may be great at a teenager's birthday party, but may not work out so well at an elegant wedding reception.

Through our experience providing San Antonio DJ services, we have found that there are several things prospective clients should look for when hiring a DJ for their special event. The following are some tips for helping to distinguish a true professional, who is likely to do a good job for you and make your event fun and entertaining for your guests, from a "hobbyist" who is more concerned with his or her own entertainment and making a few bucks as a bonus.

One of the simplest things to tell you that a DJ is a professional is that he or she carries liability insurance. It is unusual for the insurance to be important in terms of a liability claim arising from a situation at your event, but the fact that the DJ has insurance indicated that he or she is a serious businessperson.

Another indicator that a DJ is serious about his or her business is being a member of one or more national and/or regional DJ professional associations. Besides it being an indicator of professionalism, there are potential benefits to you the customer. For instance, in case of an emergency in which he or she is unable to perform at your event the DJ can quickly find good replacement talent to fill in and make sure your event still goes as planned.

You can also tell a good DJ by the equipment he or she uses. Good DJs are usually proud to talk about and show you their equipment. In addition to having professional-grade equipment in good condition, it is important that the DJ has backup equipment on hand at your event, just in case something breaks down.

Lastly, it is important to consider the personality and appearance of a DJ you are considering hiring. If the DJ shows up for your initial meeting without a professional appearance and demeanor, he or she may not be a good choice. It is also important that you feel confident that the DJ is going to work with you to give you what you want, as opposed to trying to bend you to his or her personal preferences. - 18418

A Nightmare on Elm Street the Dream Child: Fifth iin the Freddy Crugar series with everyone with the exception of Englund just going through the paces. Here, scarred, dreamhaunting Freddy Krueger (Englund) uses the unborn child of Wilcox to strike at her buddies. As typical, visual effects are a highlight however don't spare the film from being a bore. Cast includes Englund, Lisa Wilcox, Kelly Jo Minter, Erika Anderson, Whitby Hertford, and Danny Hassel. Bleak Moments: Leigh's directing debut characteristic is a strong, intensely human drama, which charts the plight of a desolate officeworker (Raitt) who looks after her retarded sibling and wishes that her relation with a schoolteacher can develop into to matrimony.
