By Karam Swanner

Okay, so you are now the proud owner of the latest MP3 player. Finally. Now all you need to work out is "How do I put songs on my MP3 player". Fortunately, most of the work is done for you, and it is little more than pointing, clicking and then kicking back to enjoy your tunes.

As eager as you are, spend ten minutes to browse through the manual and check that everything that is meant to be included is. You should have an installation disc, with music management software; put this to one side.

It is always best to use the provided software application, as it has been designed alongside your player. However, other compatible applications can be downloaded online, if you need greater functionality.

Once the software has been installed to the host computer, you will have a portal enabling you to manage your music library and convert different format types to MP3. Many will also have internet search tools, which can point you in the right direction to download the music you want to listen to.

When you have identified which online music store you wish to download tracks from, the process to get these onto your computer is straightforward enough. It is really nothing more than following the onscreen instructions from the music store.

Of course, many asking "How do I put songs on my MP3 player?" will not want to be restricted to simply downloading tracks from the web, wishing to start out by converting their existing CDs to MP3 format. Tools included in your software will guide you through this process effectively.

You may notice that some CDs prevent you from copying their data to your computer. If this is the case, it may be necessary to purchase the files independently online.

Once you have your music stored in your management software library, all you need do is copy the tracks to your MP3 player. Connect your player to your computer with a USB, and await the onscreen prompt. From here, you can either drag and drop your selected files, or use the copying facility included in the software itself.

Having successfully transferred your music, you will be able to manage the files on your MP3 player either through your computer, or directly from the player itself. You can also choose to sync the player with the computer, or manage files independently. Whichever you decide, discovering "How do I put on my MP3 player" will see you enjoying your favorite tunes wherever you are. - 18418

How To Clean Cymbals

By Amy Nutt

Are you looking for information on how to clean your cymbals without necessarily making them rust? Are you wondering what solutions to use in cleaning the grime off the cymbals? Then you should read this article. Drummers have different tastes and this is the reason you often find some cymbals looking new and shiny while others look old and used.

These all depend on the choice of the drummers. Some drummers like the cymbal looking used and grimy thus giving the impression that it is often frequently used while others hate to see the cymbals dirty and grimy. The look of a new cymbal often excites people like this and gets them itching for the sticks. The truth is that whether cleaned or not, cymbals give off the same sound although some drummers say when it is not clean, and use over a certain period, it give off a "warm" sound.

Apart from this, some drummers worry that their cymbals will have problems being cleaned. Clean cymbals may sometimes give off better sound. But dirt on some kinds of cymbals are known to help reduce their brash sounds. Each drummer really has his preferences. But, if you do not belong to the group of people who feel that dirty cymbals are the "thing", then here's how to clean the cymbal using different methods:

1. Clean with gentle soaps. Most gentle soaps are far better at cleaning the cymbal than more potent solutions. However, the soaps aren't just enough to clean the cymbals and it isn't advisable to use just about any clean cloth. Cymbal cleaners are preferably the best because of their ability to add some shine to the cymbal making it look new in the process. Cymbal cleaners are easily available at any drums or music equipment shop.

2. Avoid cleaning with water as cymbals made of copper tend to turn green when water is consistently used to clean them. Besides water takes off the shine leaving it exposed to rust and corrosion.

3. A combination of vinegar and lemon can help get rid of all the tar. Lemon has always been known as an astringent and has a lot of cleaning ability. To do this, divide a lemon into 2, squeeze one half onto whole surface of the cymbal and use the other to rub the lemon around. If you have a pot cleaner, apply this and rub on the lemon. This will bring out the shine. You can do this for the 2 surfaces. Then apply the vinegar. If you want to keep the label of the cymbal, avoid applying the vinegar to the point and wash off with warm water. Do not leave to air dry. Dry them properly with cotton materials.

4. If you do not like any of these, why not buy the cymbal brand's cream or liquid. These were produced specifically for the cymbals and work like magic all the time, leaving them clean and looking new. The only downside to this is that it could be a bit pricey. - 18418

Find Great Instrumental Music Online

By Aaron McLain

Today with the rise in popularity of the internet all you need to find some great instrumental music online is a computer with an internet connection. By simply pointing your browser with search terms like instrumental music, you are smothered by a whole smorgasbord of websites offering not only paid, but free online instrumental music.

To give you a head start on your search, Ill point you in the direction of a few places Ive found to be some of best sites to listen to instrumental music online.

The first place I usually visit online for my daily instrumental fix is none other than AOL radio. They are great for when I need that time out to get my mind off the day and do some meditation. My favorite section is their Eclectic area where I can find anything from ambient instrumentals to nature sounds that just melt my problems away. The best part though is that unlike other free instrumental music radio, AOL has very few commercial interruptions so its almost like having a paid service.

There are times when I need more than just jazz or new age instrumentals. Sometimes I need to get my spirits up when Ive had a really bad day at the office. Thats when I point my browser to the spiritual side of the net, more specifically, Cross Walk Radio online. This online streaming radio station is run by the Salem Web Network All-Pass System, which is where I had to go to register for crosswalk radio. This station has some of the best Christian instrumental music online and I am a frequent visitor.

Christmas time is my favorite time of year and the way I get myself into the Christmas swing is by listening to my favorite instrumental music online. The best place Ive found that offers the most variety is Live 365. They are the place to go during the holidays and feature all the classics that I grew up with. I like the fact that their arent any sappy lyrics. I was never one for lyrics. I am all about the music.

Instrumental Jazz music is another one of my favorite genres. Jazz to me is the rebel of instrumental music. The best place online to listen to free jazz instrumental music is My Music Stream. They have a great selection of jazz artists and allow you to both listen to streaming online radio or download your favorite jazz instrumentals.

Score another point for My Music Stream. This is also the place I visit to get my instrumental mix of blues. Like jazz they have a wide variety of blues instrumentals that comfort me in my time of need.

Bottom line, there are tons and tons of places that offer free instrumental music online, you just have to do your research and be patient. Whether your looking for soft ambient instrumentals or Christmas instrumental music you are sure to find it out in the world wide web. Until Next Time - 18418
