It's directed by Steven Spielberg, and is a depiction of what the Jews went through in the Holocaust. Sure it may have some depressing scenes, but the acting is superb, and the movie is brilliant. It's shot completely in black and white, which was ingenious by Steven, and I must admit I cried a tear or two.

Liam Neeson is awesome and plays the German businessman making a profit from German military contracts. His company employs a Jewish work staff that is slowly depleted as he discovers the awful truth that they are being slaughtered, one by one, in gas chambers located in Auschwitz. He becomes a savior to so many Jewish people, although he cried that he did not save enough.

It's a gut wrenching, heart felt movie that truly depicts the hardships of the Jews and the real truth about what they had faced with the Germans. It really was inspiring to see how many Jews he had saved, although in the end, he felt he hadn't saved enough.

Hollywood of course, adds their bit of fiction to make it even more interesting, but just knowing that these were real people in real times is what makes a biography intensely riveting and enjoyable to watch. - 18418
